Noise In My Head is a freeform sonic excursion piloted by Michael Kucyk. From early beginnings as a long-running cult radio show on Melbourne’s 3RRR FM, it has become a vital nexus to the Australia music scene, and now the identity expands as a DJ, two record labels and party series.

For over 11 years, NIMH has brought together producers, DJs and selectors from all over the world through his radio show, forming links between Australia, Japan, Germany, Sweden, UAE, Canada, the US and beyond throughout the process. The carefully curated program now broadcasts fortnight on London online institution NTS, alongside regular presenters Andrew Weatherall, Four Tet, Floating Points, Funkineven, Trevor Jackson and Moxie.

With two labels, NIMH’s quest to share mind bending musical anomalies doesn’t end. Noise In My Head Records has released Suzanne Kraft, Lucy Cliché and Villa Åbo, as well as collaborating with Butter Sessions for the all-local compilation series Domestic Documents. Simultaneously, Efficient Space has established itself as a lauded retrospective imprint. The label has spotlighted 90s Melbourne backroom house from Braden Schlager and unsung Oz dub master Andy Rantzen, while co-ordinating three compilations - Oz Waves, Midnite Spares and the defining coming-of-age record Sky Girl.

オーストラリアはメルボルンのラジオ局3RRR FMのカルト・ラジオショウとしてMichael Kucykがスタートした番組Noise In My Head。
現在は、Michael Kucyk自身がNoise In My Headを名乗り、DJとしての活動、ラジオショウ、2つのレコード・レーベル、パーティーの運営を行っている。
Noise In My Headは、11年に渡り彼のラジオ番組を通してオーストラリアは勿論、日本、ドイツ、スウェーデン、UAE、カナダ、アメリカなどのプロデューサー、DJ、セレクターをリンクし続けている。
また、ロンドンのインターネット・ラジオプログラムNTSでもAndrew Weatherall、Four Tet、Floating Points、Funkineven、Trevor Jackson、Moxieなどと共に定期的な出演を行っている。
彼の運営する2つのレーベルの一つ、Noise In My Head Recordsでは、現在注目を浴びるSuzanne Kraft、Lucy Cliché、Villa Åbの作品、また、Butter Sessionsとコラボするオーストラリア・ダンスシーンのローカル音源を集めたコンピレーションDomestic Documentsをリリース。
もう一方のレーベルEfficient Spaceでは、90年代のメルボルンのオブスキュア・ハウス音源Braden Schlager「On The Moon」の奇跡的な再発を皮切りに、オーストラリアのカルトなニューウェイヴ～ポストパンクをコンパイルしたコンピレーション3作品、Sky Girl、Midnite Spares、Oz Wavesをリリースし、ダンスミュージック・シーンはもとより、世界各地のレコード・ディガーからも注目を集めている。
